1956 Omega Automatic Seamaster Cal. 500 17 Jewel wristwatch! Winds, Sets, Runs!

Description: Up for bid is a 1956 Omega Automatic Seamaster men's wristwatch that winds, sets, and runs! This vintage (and handsome) classic watch has a 500 cal., 17 jewels, self winding movement, a stainless steel back and case, champagne colored cross hairs dial with Arabic numbers at just 12 and 6, and batons at the other 10 positions. The metal band is vintage, but not original to the watch. Serial number 15379959. The watch is 34 mm diameter, 12 mm thick, and has 19 mm space between the lugs. The watch winds up fine by moving it back and forth, the stem pulls out and the time is easily adjusted, and the watch has been running for us for over a day. The dial of the watch and the hands of the watch have some degradation as shown in the pictures. Crystal is in very nice condition. Back snaps on and off nice and tight. We have not checked the watch for longevity of a full wind or for accuracy. We are selling the watch as is, and it has no additional warranty past the regular return time. The watch could probably use a check up and tune up, but we will leave that up to the buyer. Item pictured is the exact item you are bidding on.
