Description: A really nice souvenir mug from a 1959 NBC television show "A Toast to Jerome Kern". Kern was one of the best known Broadway composers of the 1930's and 1940's and wrote many of the American standards. I'm not sure if this was given to cast members or the studio audience but, the numbers made must have been fairly small given this was a special show broadcast a single time. It is 5-1/2" tall and 4-3/8" across the base. It is marked "NASSAU CHINA TRENTON NJ" on the base. It is in excellent, clean condition with no chips, cracks or wear to the design. There are some dark spots on the unglazed underside.
