We opened only one set from this case and the coins were beautiful!!!!! 5 Coin SILVER PROOF SET issued by the United States Mint and complete with its original envelope. 1960 Proof set to consisting of: Lincoln Cent Jefferson Nickel Silver Roosevelt Dime Silver Washington Quarter Dollar Silver Franklin Half Dollar The Dime, Quarter and Half Dollar are each 90% Silver coins! Philadelphia Mint History of this set Besides the cent, each 1960 Proof Set also contained the Franklin Half Dollar, Washington Quarter, Roosevelt Dime, and Jefferson Nickel. The five coins carried a face value of 91 cents and were sold for $2.10 each. The proof set packaging consisted of a plain yellow outer envelope with the notation “1960 P.C.” and the Treasury Department address. The coins sealed within individual compartments of cellophane wrap with a foil “US Mint Philadelphia” seal, and placed within the envelope between two pieces of cardboard.
