Description: 1960's Sutcliffe Submarine Retailer Stand. These stands were only supplied to retailers of Sutcliffe boats that reached sales of over 50 units per month. They were produced by a factory in Bradford for Sutcliffe Pressings, the same company that produced all their boat boxes etc. These stands display two Submarines at a time, that appear to be diving to the sea bed, they will display any of the submarine range, you have in your collection. This display unit includes the two submarines in the picture Seawolf ( yellow) and Unda Wunda (red & grey) they both have slipping motors and are for display only but included FREE with the stand! A rare chance to add a rare display unit to your collection, most of these units were thrown away by retailers when the factory closed in the 1980's hence no more stock to sell !!
