Description: Sturdy antique style pine orchard or bee keepers trug with sturdy iron fittings and a lift out tray. Never used agriculturally, as this was taken to agricultural shows as part of the then Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Food displays. It has minor age-related marks. I was told it came from the model farm at Merrist Wood. It has UK government issue marks for 1967. Super agricultural/industrial item - antique of the future. Came to me from my late father who gave talks about farm buildings on the MAFF stand at shows in the '70s and '80s. Brilliant for storage and display in the home or in a retail setting. Or of course you could use it on your farm or smallholding. Questions welcome.
