Description: This is a very rare 1963 #573165 original Hagstrom Corvette. Its been well played and spent most of its years in a studio as well as live performance. Always been one of my favorites. Still plays great and sounds great. Lots of different sounds are attainable with the 3 pickup and 3 tone push button system. This is a very slim, "fast" neck with very low action. Its all original with no mods. Comes with nice square hard shell case. Being a 60 year old guitar its in good shape but with some flaws.1. The Truss Rod cover on the head stock is missing. (affects nothing and can be replaced)2. The Whammy bar was lost years ago and never replaced. (I'm not a whammy player)3. Finish has usual dings, scratches, and some finish cracks, but none are threatening nor affect playability.4. The guitar has two switchable volume systems that allow for different volume settings labled Solo and Acc. The Solo volume lever engages with a plastic gear on a pot that is worn. It works but is only accurate for about 50% travel. The ACC volume pot works perfectly.5. One of the tuner covers is missing. This is a rare find for any collector and a player's guitar!
