1964-66 Oldsmobile Starfire Jetstar Dynamic 98 Auto Trans Tachometer W/ NOS Lens

Description: Nice USED1964-66 Full-size Oldsmobile Models With Automatic Transmission Console Mounted Tachometer.This fits the following Oldsmobile models that had an automatic transmission with either standard or optional bucket seats with a floor console:1964 Dynamic 881964 Jetstar 88 1964 98 1964-65 Jetstar 1 1964-66 StarfireThe original lens of this tachometer was cracked, but it has been replaced with an NOS lens. It appears the original lens was pushed in at center protruding stem, and the backside of the lens touched the inner metal divider plate and dial (see attached photos). This caused a slight dent on the dial, and some slight paint removal on the divider plate. The dent on the dial is not visible when viewing the tachometer from a normal viewing angle. The divider plate could be repainted flat black to make it perfect again. Please note the clear lens for the light bulb well is melted a bit. This is very typical for all the AC produced tachometers that were made this way in the 1960s. The heat from the light bulb was too much for the plastic material used. The tachometer was tested and worked (see attached testing results sheet).If you have any questions, please ask.
