Description: 1964-67 Beehive Hockey (Group 3) -GARY DORNHOEFER (Boston Bruins). Wrinkle/Crease free. This series of large sized cards was produced and distributed by the St Lawrence Starch Co and was a set that was produced every year and checklists were updated every year producing large sets and varying levels of rarity. They measure 5-3/8" x 8" and were largely available via a very popular mail-in offer. There are 3 "groups" of cards made in this series... Group 1-(1934-1943) a smaller photo glued to a colored mount, Group 2 (1944-1963) and are smaller photos glued to stiffer card or "mount", and finally Group 3 (1964-1967) with distinct woodgrain border.
