Description: The rare 1964 card from the "carbking" collection has some wear and light staining associated with packaging on the back of the card. There is also some staining on the front of the card as seen in the photos. The card measures roughly 5.25" x 4". Please review the pictures to assist with the condition and content of the card. The Marhoefer Meatpacking Company was founded in 1901 as the Kuhner Packing Company. The Marhoefer family would take over in 1945. Based in Muncie, Indiana, the company would aggressively advertise their sausages and hot dogs in conjunction with the local Indianapolis 500. These cards were produced as part of the packaging for their products. The weiner stains seen on the back of this card are not unusual. This unnumbered card from the 20-card 1964 Marhoefer set features Chuck Hulse. Hulse would make four starts in the Indianapolis 500 with a best finish of 7th in 1967. He would make a total of 60 starts in the USAC Championship Series with a best finish of 2nd at Phoenix and Sacramento.
