Description: The rare 1965 card has very light wear with little staining on the back of the card. There is some slight creasing near the bottom of the card. The card measures roughly 5.25" x 4". Please review the pictures to assist with the condition and content of the card. The Marhoefer Meatpacking Company was founded in 1901 as the Kuhner Packing Company. The Marhoefer family would take over in 1945. Based in Muncie, Indiana, the company would aggressively advertise their sausages and hot dogs in conjunction with the local Indianapolis 500. These cards were produced as part of the packaging for their products. The staining seen in this card is not unusual. This unnumbered card features Bobby Unser and is one of 18 cards that make up a complete 1965 set. Unser is a three time Indy 500 Champion with wins in 1968, 1975, and 1981. He made a total of 258 career Indy Car starts and garnered 35 wins. He was the Indy Car Champion in 1968 and in 1974.
