Communion in the form of both bread and wine will be taken by members of the Houston District Holy Name Union of the Galveston Houston Catholic Diocese unlike the customary bread only the Latin (Western) rite at the 7:30 p.m. Tuesday meeting at St. Pius X Byzantine Rite Catholic Church, 9102 Meadowshire. The Reverend Dmytro Blazejowskyj, pastor of the church, will celebrate Mass according to the Eastern Rite, which uses both bread and wine for administration of the sacrament to the faithful.
