Description: 1968 Omega Genève Ref.135.041 Mechanical Cal.601 Gold Plated Vintage Watch About the watch & condition: Here we have a nice vintage Omega Genève dated 1968. It’s a mechanical watch and has a stunning Calibre 601 Omega movement as shown. It keeps good time over 24 hours, when tested it was within 30 seconds. More details below; The dial itself is a stunning champagne colour with contrasting golden markers & hands. Very classy looking watch! Condition wise it’s been kept in exceptional shape and looks great on the wrist! The crystal is the original Omega one and looks great for its age. There’s no cracks and it’s relatively clean bar a little scratch towards the right side. With a full polish you may be able to remove this but it’s only really visible in certain lights! The case of this watch looks great and is in good condition. There is some general wear as shown with some light scratches but it’s to be expected of a 50 year old watch! The gold plating looks to be in great shape, usually they’re more faded than this! It still has its omega branded crown which always looks nice. It’s winding & works just as you’d expect! It’s slightly worn around the edges but nothing major at all. The watch is sat on an Apollo black leather strap, which will fit a wrist sized 7 3/4 inches. It suits the watch well but could easily be swapped out for something slightly higher quality. This watch is a mechanical watch, this means it needs to be wound for it to work. Please know this when buying! This is just for the watch there’s no box or paperwork!
