Description: Obverse has proof like mirror fields and reverse has fantastic die polish marks as well as the much better cut lettering and spears found in the proofs. I have always considered it may be a proof or early trial piece - but NGC slabbed it as simple MS67. Who knows? It has been cracked out of its NGC slab (like all coins in my collection) and is sold raw but sold with the previous MS67 NGC label.
