Description: "BUDWEISER – KING OF BEERS" ORIGINAL STORE DISPLAY – circa 1970's (possibly early 1980's) Anheuser Bush Inc. / Russell S. Kribs Assoc., Inc. 17.5" x 7" x 4.5". Color litho on plastic with metallic gold accents. We offer an early Budweiser bar / liquor store display piece featuring the popular Clydesdale horses & delivery wagon. The backdrop has an attractive paisley graphic with the "King of Beers" inscription, Budweiser logo & Anheuser Bush eagle mascot on these panel. Overall, the display is very eye-catching with outstanding visual appeal. A great advertising display for a breweriana bar collection centerpiece. Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Of note, there is a 4.5" x 1" chipped area off the left side of the left panel. That being said, we feel that this flaw, though apparent, does not affect the visual integrity of this display dramatically. Scattered paint scuffing with an attractive, clean appearance. Overall, we feel this is a very displayable example by most standards (see photos). An exceptional store display for the discriminating BUDWEISER and/or VINTAGE ADVERTISING enthusiast. On a condition code scale of 1 to 10, the above listed item(s) rated (7-6). We consider condition as FAIR with miscellaneous surface/stain/edge wear. Misc. surface creasing with scattered edge punctures creating surface tears. The 1950's period autograph is a bit faded. No chips or pinholes. Overall, despite defects, we feel this is still a displayable example by most standards (see photos). It would make a scarce LEE MERIWETHER display for the discriminating AUTOGRAPH enthusiast.
