Description: 1970s Mid Century Heritage Slate Top Octagonal Table 46.5 x 46.5 Introducing this 1970's era black slate octagonal coffee table. This is beautiful table that has been a prized possession of mine for many years, having driven to Maryland from WV to buy it. Item features no cracks that I could find, but the edge does show some wear/light chipping, etc. It is displayed on an octagonal wooden base, very light that needs refinished. I am unsure if the base is original to the slate top. The top rests on the base and is not secured to it, meaning it could be placed on a different base very easily. This is a stunning piece, very heavy, likely 100 lbs or more and difficult to transport. The item is being shipped either (a) local pickup or (b) personal delivery.
