You have the Topps 1971 black border, a young Nolan Ryan coming out of the stretch ready to unleash one of his blazing fastballs with the RC cola ad in the background. Even his simulated autograph looks perfect. What more could you ask for in a baseball card? It's wicked cool! Unfortunately, this card was loved a little too much by myself as a kid being a Mets fan. It is in poor condition, but somehow it still presents well for a card in it's condition. It has a crease (see all photos please), rounded corners and scratches on the surface. The centering is an issue in this set, and this card is no exception. But STILL, with all these flaws, this card would be a terrific addition to any Ryan, Mets, HOF, '71 Topps or even RC Cola collection. Priced accordingly.
