Description: 1972 GUILD D-40 BLUEGRASS JUBILEE DREADNOUGHT ACOUSTIC IN NATURAL This guitar deserves a second chance and will sound beautiful once setup. This guitar needs a neck reset and the truss rod works great. The neck slopes down a bit where it meets the body and the Brazilian rosewood? fingerboard separates slightly as it needs a neck reset. There are 2 hairline cracks on the top by the pickguard and they do not go thru the wood. No strap pins and the end hole for the strap pin has a metal rod going to a brace under the bridge I try to show in the pics. There is 02 stamped on the wood by the guild stamp as well as the guild sticker. I believe this is therefore a second. The repaired cracks on the side of the guitar are very stable. Frets have very little wear. There are some blemishes you can feel on the back of the neck. This guitar will be sold as is with
