Description: What we have here is a full collection from the Franklin Mints official coinage for the government of Belize in 1975. Issued with a proof strike in Sterling silver (.925), these coins mark only the second year of issue of the new national coinage of Belize. British Honduras had only been formed in 1973. The vintage of these coins was only 13,000 compared with the 1974 version which had a mintage of 31,000. There are also significant differences between the 1974 1975 coins for example, on the 1975 coinage bears the coins value in Arabic numerals rather than the words like in 1974. The coins have never been removed from the protective card and have been stored in a non-smoking home. The box has a cut in the bottom right and the coin card shows creases.
