Description: Ronald Reagan spent several decades as an actor on the big screen and TV before he decided to jump into politics in 1966 by running for California governor. He beat out Edmund "Pat" Brown, the man who had defeated Richard Nixon in 1962, and then was re-elected in 1970. By 1976 he was a definite contender for the republican presidential nomination against "appointed," yet sitting president, Gerald Ford. And that race during the bicentennial year is when this 3 7/8" x 15" fancy, red, white and blue bumper sticker was produced. We're listing the Ford one by the same maker, as well. This is in nice condition but please look at our images to judge condition for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase. S & H on it will be $6.50 sent well-protected with tracking. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential (and other collectible) material so buy with confidence, and we'll be happy to combine S & H costs on multiple purchases even though eBay says we won't. We just give you a refund for any overpayment. 6260
