Description: I have this World Series Official Program from 1977. I believe this is an early edition before the play offs began. It indicates that the Kansas City Royals, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies and Los Angeles Dodgers won their respective divisions but no indication that the Yankees and Dodgers advanced to the world series. I have seen other posts of this program that has extra pages added that shows the Yankees and Dodgers advancing to the World Series. The last regular season game was October 2. It wasn't until October 9 when Yankees defeated Kansas City that it was known who would be playing in the world series, so this program was released between those two dates. Program has team photos, information and statistics on the 4 play-off teams. In addition, has 1977 highlights from the American and National league and facts on past world series games. Also has world series humor, quiz, surprises and much more. Back of program has team photos of the American and National league players that played in that season's All-Star game. As shown, there is some writing on the contents page, but rest of program is clean including the box scores not being used. Also, the last 8 pages have a small tear at top of page.
