Description: 1989 Rare Lehis Isle of Promise Book of Mormon Location Arthur J Kocherhans LDS______________________________________ Lehi's Isle of Promise A Scriptural Account With Word Definitions and A Commentary By Arthur J. Kocherhans Published by Kobo Enterprises (1989) About the Book:This is a great book that takes scriptural references and applies them to geography in an attempt to find the location where The Book of Mormon took place. It is a very interesting read with lots of good points! If this is something you have thought about investigating yourself, this is an excellent sourcebook for information! As I was shrink-wrapping the book, I noticed that it had a promotional flyer from the publisher hidden within it's pages. It is not shown, but will be included with the book. Condition:Excellent++ First Edition Softcover Book measures 8.25" x 10.5"! NO MARKS! The binding is tight and all 211 pages within are bright white with NO WRITING, UNDERLINING, HIGH-LIGHTING, RIPS, TEARS, BENDS OR FOLDS. The covers look excellent, but there is some wear on the back cover. You will be happy with this one! Always handled and packaged with care! Some Book Reviews:I read this book a few years ago. In fact, I have read all of his books, and seen his videos on the same subject. I found his theory of where the Book of Mormon people lived very compelling. Of all the theories that have been put forward, his makes the most sense. I gave him four instead of five stars simply because he tends to be a little wordy... most of his written works could be cut in half and one would still be able to get the same information out of them... However, do not let this deter you! The concepts he presents are so fascinating and compelling, it is well worth the read. Perhaps the thing that triggered my imagination the most was remembering that the devastation at the time of Christ was so complete, that those still alive could not even recognize the landscape. By tracing the actual tectonic plates of the earth in the area of South America, it is relatively easy to picture what the Land of Lehi would have looked like before the land changed so drastically. The book is thought provoking and well worth the read!--by Kevan Remarkable and straight forward look at the possible locations of the Book of Mormon using the The Book of Mormon itself as a guide.--by Rick Copyright © 2018-2024 TDM Inc.
