Description: 1990 New Orleans Vintage Jazz Fest poster. Pencil signed by the artist Louise Mouton. #620/2500. (NOTE: An artist signed means there is a SECOND signature done in pencil on the poster...NOT the signature that is part of the artwork) Featuring the Musician Kid Shiek, 88 yrs old at the time. A wonderful trumpet player and artist of his trade, that went back to almost the beginning of 'it all'... The print was diagonally separated by a banner of musical notes that featured above an area depicting illustrations of the by gone days of 78 rpm music. Least we should forget those glory days.. In 1990 the production of the posters shifted from Procreations to a minority owned African business..The company was unknown at the time. The early 90's posters displayed that change, it was decidedly different. Loved or disliked by many. You decide.
