1990s Randall BMF Slash Guns N Roses Vintage Tube Amplifier Head 1/2 Stack 4x12

Description: Loads of features! Can Run EL34s or 6L6s w a flip of the switch. Effects loop. 1/3, 1/2 or full power switch (100.watts) can run power tubes at cold, warm or hot bias..flip of switch. Thisnone comes w the mayching MlBMF 4x12 can loaded w 2 made in England Celestion Vintage 30s and 2 Celestion G12M-70s. Cab can be run in stereo with a 2nd head. This has a Plexi front and back panel. There is some warpage on the front panel under the knobs. Seems to have gotten hot at some point in the past. Had my buddy shop it out and it sounds even better than before. This head came in two flavors, the prototype (25 made) looks like the first and only run except the prototypes had no top venting for the tubes. The actual run only consisted of roughly 250 units and then it was ended due to the deal that Slash struck with Marshall. On a side note this head was also tested out by none other than Dimebag Darrell who even though gave it rave reviews decided to stick with his RG100ES solid state heads." A bit of a rare one for you! This is the Randall BMF (yes it means what you think it means). This is 100w Plexi style amp developed for Slash of GnR as his signature head, however, he ultimately went with Marshall so Randall stopped making them. As a result, there are only about 300 of these floating around. It's absolutely loaded with features; - 2 Channels - 1/2, 1/3 and Full power settings - 3 bias options for running the tubes hotter or colder - Can take either 6L6s or EL34s - FX Loop - Cab is loaded with Celestion G12m-70's One of the best Marshall style cleans I've ever heard. The gain side approaches JCM800 territory, but not quite as crunchy.
