Description: This is a 100-card base set by Private Collection known as 'Marilyn ... Birth of a Legend' This somewhat confusing non-sports set has confounded collectors for years -- especially in terms of the several different versions of 'prototypes' that seem to be floating around. But ... I have avoided that problem here ... no prototype cards are included with this offer !! However, there is included the 15-card 'Marilyn Story' chase set, as well as the 5-card 'Limited Edition' chase set -- which is quite rare. Limited Edition cards take the form of 'pop art' illustrations, often associated with the legendary model and actress. All these cards have been preserved in a handy three-ring binder with 4-pocket pages, but they will all be shipped inside sturdy plastic 'sliders' from Baseball Card World (BCW). Enjoy !!
