It is paired perfectly with a maple fretboard that lays upon a comfortable oval (C) profile neck. It is in pretty fantastic condition for its age and aside from a chip along the back bottom edge and a chip/wear spot to the fretboard (which was repaired and feels smooth to the touch), the rest of the guitar has only a few scattered dings and dents which are minor.
