Description: Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely Doulton Lambeth Art Pottery jug, c. 1870's. The jug is decorated with rich cobalt blue upper body and handle, a raised design with green foliage and light blue flowers on a cobalt background above the mottled brown highly glazed lower body. Marked "Doulton, Lambeth, England" with assorted incised design and artist marks. One incised number is "3142" and with unidentified artist's trademark stamp. Measures 7" high with a maximum width of 4 1/2". Weighs 1.12 pounds. This nice jug is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. There is one tiny no-harm inclusion (popped bubble ??) on the lower brown glazed body from firing (production). Please view all photos.
