Description: ~ Hello and welcome to The Textile Trunk! ~ Please come join us on Instagram: @textiletrunk ~ This wonderful curtain is American and the fabric dates from the 1930s , however this fabric I believe is earlier ( please see my other textiles for the matching panels and valance , just search my store for the words " American hand block print " ~ Im a bit stumped with age, I would date to the 1800s, but the width is a bit wide for that era! ~*~ ~ this curtain has the most wonderfully aged ground! Warm tea toned! The pattern is all hand block printed in browns, pinks and blues ~ The fabric is a light to medium weight cotton ~ the top is pleated for hanging and there is one ring still attached! ~*~ This curtain is not backed ~*~ Its a wonderful, early textile ~ ideal for any period interior ~ ( I have 2 of these panels, they are a set, mirror image of each other, so they match together! ~ I am selling them individually, but if you purchase the quantity of 2, you will get both curtain panels! ) MEASUREMENTS: This curtain measures approximately : 55 inches long by 40 inches wide at the bottom. The top, where it is pleated measures :33 inches wide ~ CONDITION: This panel is in as found, not freshly laundered condition, this panel has damage on side edge from sun. The first 1-2 inches on the side edge that would have had the sun (right side on one, left on the other ) has sun damage, little splits, small tears and one of the panels has a long tear of the fabric, so its best to remove that and create a new edge if hanging as a curtain. However if youre using for deconstruction and making pillows etc, the side edge would just be cut away! ~* Item Number: E 101 20220515
