Artist: George Morland (English b. 1763 - d. 1804) Romantic Neoclassical styleEngraver: John Raphael Smith (English b. 1751 - d. 1812) Print features woman standing in front of a large tree, wearing a large plumed black hat and holding a basket and feeding chickens and chicks Image size: 10-1/2 inches wide, 13-1/4 inches tallFrame: 16-5/8 inches wide, 19-5/8 inches tall, approx 7/8 inches deep Outer matte is ivory and appears slightly discolored. Inner matte is blue and gold as shown. Print is in excellent condition with no noticeable fading to the colors. Frame is gold and in very good, solid, vintage condition. Some discoloration to the top of the frame as shown and backing paper is crumbling as shown. Print has not been examined outside of the frame. I also have a companion piece with identical frame and matting by Angelica Kauffman, engraved by F. Bartolozzi so please check my other listings.
