Description: 19th Century Old Paris Porcelain Hand Painted Floral Garlands Demitasse Cup & Saucer Mid 19th century Old Paris / Vieux Paris porcelain demitasse cup and saucer. Nicely decorated with hand painted intertwining pink, blue and gold gilt floral garlands along the edge. With hand painted pink roses, orange flowers and blue forget me nots with gold gilt floral swags underneath. The saucer has two gold bands in the center and gold gilding to the edge. The cup has gold highlights to the handle, and gilding along the foot rim and the lip. Unmarked except for an impressed 14. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 3 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 4 5/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
