Description: What Will They Think of Last? Gold on Science Fiction SF for Fun and Profit from the Inside by Horace L. Gold (signed) aka H. L. Gold Cover by Linda Anderson and Bill Nelson Interior Art by Janet Slemko IDHHB, Inc. First Edition Description: Hardback published by IDHHB, Inc. in 1976. The copyright page states 'Limited First Edition signed by the author'. Signed and numbered 'No. 15' by the author on the title page without inscription or personalization. 100 copies were produced of the limited hardback edition, the other, unsigned, copies were trade paperback. A collection of author/editor H. L. Gold's editorials from Galaxy Magazine, the copyright page states 'Copyright 1950 through 1961 by Galaxy Publishing Corp'. From the back cover: Termed a "Living Legend," Horace L. Gold is equally renowned as a top science fiction author and founder of Galaxy Magazine, which he edited for eleven fabulous years. From the large number of pieces he wrote for all issues - witty, robust humor, sly satire on modern civilization, speculations on the future, and helpful ideas and criticism for writers - these have been selected as the best and most representative, for the enjoyment of readers and writers alike. Condition: Binding - acceptable, looks fine from the outside if you don't look at the page edges, inside, the edges of the book has moisture staining (looks like it might be coffee) including the front pastedown, staining is mostly at the page edges except for the first couple of pages where the staining at the top of the page extends down an inch or so, text is clean and readable, the limitation number and signature is not stained although the staining came fairly close to the limitation numbering (see pictures). Dust Jacket - near fine, minor edgewear and wrinkling, minor soiling - the staining doesn't seem to have gotten on the dust jacket, not price clipped but flaps are blank - it seems to have been a copy of the trade paperback cover, in dust jacket protector.
