Description: Pair of Papua New GhineaAncestral Figures These two figures are part of a collection I purchase years ago and have some age to them, not recent carvings. Would look great with a Tiki Bar even outside under cover. Each figure stands 10" each 3" at widest and 1 1/2" deep. I believe they are both male figures, heavily carved on all sides and show lots of age and wear. I have had these two together since I purchased them and prefer to keep them as a pair. Both in good worn condition but do have issues including, old residue where they were stuck/glued to footing so they could stand up straight which needs to be scraped off? They will stand up but are crooked/leaning, lots of scuffing and wear, the nose on the one with high carved headdress appears to have been work off and colored in brown? The one with the beak/nose has a number 5 on the right side of his chest, possibly black marker highlighted with pencil? Also cracking, chipping to top tip of headdress on one and tip of penis worn on other. Please ask for any addition photos or more description if needed, pictures are a little dark on eBay!
