An INCREDIBLE PRICE! I think I paid almost twice what I am offering it here for on this auction back in 2004 to Lladro. Own my lovingly cared for, signed Lladro Wider for ALMOST HALF THE PRICE! I am the original owner and purchaser of this incredible Lladro and would not be selling it had I not sold my large home and downsized into a small condo! Now, I am selling many of my treasures and things I have collected for 40+ years - rare books, Erte bronzes, Christmas ornaments, Fountain pens, Cybis Porcelain, etc., etc.The Lladro Wider from the world renowned brand Lladro. This exquisite figurine is number #12 of just 500 created! In addition, I was invited to a private event where the President of Lladro was in person announcing this piece. I talked to her after her presentation, she was wonderful and delightful, and she personally signed this Lladro for me in two (2) places (I was the only one who asked!!!). She signed the bottom of the base AND the bottom of the actual porcelain piece itself.I will carefully package this piece in a large heavy walled box with lots of peanuts so that it arrives safe to you. The FedEx shipping charge will be a fraction of what it costs me to ship this to you! The shipping charge is for domestic shipping, eBay International shipments will go through the Glendale Heights, IL eBay Global Processing Center and then on to you for out of U.S. destinations. Any import duties for your country are your responsibility. NOTE: The condition of the piece is in VERY GOOD CONDITION, however, it has sat on my formal living room coffee table for many years and it does have some sun damage on the sides and inside of the "wood like walls" housing (i.e. some fading on the wood tone). You can see a bit of whitening of the "wood walls" in my photos (and because of the sun reflection when I was taking a picture, the man is reflected onto the walls -- which I think really showcases how stunning this piece looks during a bright day). I believe the piece is supposed to represent man pushing through the walls of his boundaries. Breaking through and making accomplishments. Man achieving great things (I use man as in mankind)...
