Description: Agressive XC frame! These are pretty rare category of bikes between trail and XC. Frame is much stronger than a regular XC frame. Most frames of this era used asymmetrical chainstays, but these are symmetrical adding a lot of strength. Nice straight tubing adds strength as well, and allows for use of high travel droppers that will fit flush with the frame. The internal headset is great and can be converted to an external tapered headset allowing for compatibility with modern parts. Frame has more control oriented geometry as well, so this is ideal for XC riders who want to be able to handle downhill sections with confidence, but with little to no sacrifice to being light and efficient climber/pedaling capability. Frame is in great shape! Linkage is smooth, no play. Structurally frame is perfect, no dents, cracks, or gauges. Rear shock works perfect. Butter smooth. Propedal makes the shock about 3-4X stiffer adding dramatic climbing capability. Rebound works perfect too. Cosmetically frame is in decent shape. Few random paint chips, some have been repaired with touch up paint. *BONUS cartridge bearing headset included!
