This “Made in Japan” Strat was produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market at the Dyna Gakki factory, uncommon outside of its country of origin. Tonewoods include a basswood body and one-piece maple neck, and the trio of ceramic magnet Fender single coil pickups have a clear sound, with more punch and top end snap than most alnico varieties, delivering a range of classic Strat tonalities at each position on the five-way pickup selector switch. This Strat weighs 7lbs 5oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.
