Description: This Fender Player Acoustasonic Telecaster is here on trade. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. The guitar is in great cosmetic shape with nothing negative worth mentioning. Its original gig bag is included with the guitar. The best-selling Acoustasonic Series now comes in a stripped down model made in their Ensenada, Mexico factory. That combined with a slimmed-down electronic system and rosewood instead of ebony has cut the cost down considerably. Now, many players can afford to add an Acoustasonic to their collection! I'll admit, I was skeptical of the original USA Made Acoustasonic Teles. That is until they showed up and absolutely blew us out of the water! They have gone on to be our best-selling USA-made Fender Guitar! Long-time Acoustic players are realizing that once plugged in, the size and shape of an acoustic don't impact its tone as much as the pickup does. It's all about the amp, the settings, and getting them dialed in. This guitar is exceptionally comfortable and easy two play without the crippling left-hand fatigue that many players experience within the acoustic realm. A Solid Sitka Spruce Top gets the tonewood conversation started. Spruce is hands down the most often used tonewood throughout the history of stringed and fretted instruments. This wood has the perfect strength to weight ratio which allows it to project quite literally like no other wood on the planet. The body is made from Mahogany. This is another time-tested and revered tonewood that has ties to the Martin D-18 and the Gibson J-45. 2 Classic Models that are benchmarks of Tone so it makes sense that Fender would choose it for the Acoustasonic Series. As a body wood, mahogany provides a dry, focused, and articulate sound that is perfect for supporting vocals. The neck is also made from Mahogany and carved into a Deep C Profile. This neck profile is found on many American Made Fenders so it is an instantly familiar feeling Guitar. The Fingerboard on the Player Series is made from Rosewood instead of Ebony. It features a 12" fingerboard radius, 22 Narrow Tall Frets, 25.5" Scale Length, a 1.6875" Nut Width. There are two pickups in this guitar that can be heard independently of one another or in tandem. One is a Fishman Under-Saddle Transducer along with an N4 Telecaster Bridge Pickup. The two can be blended to your heart's content via the Blend Control (what my eyes want to call the tone control) and the three-way pickup selector switch. A 9-Volt Battery powers the system.
