Description: This Canyon Neuron 5 is the 2022 model - bought new and rode for the first time in May of 2023. The bike is well-maintained, and ready to shred any trail you throw at it. The bike came spec’d with a RockShox Recon fork, however I switched it out for a much more burly and capable Marzocchi Bomber Z1. The bike is 34 pounds but pedals like a dream. I also replaced the derailleur and shifter from a Shimano Deore to a SRAM GX. The shifting is a little finicky sometimes and it most likely just needs a new derailleur hanger, which is $25 from Canyon. The bike’s suspension geometry is 140 up front and 130 in the rear, making for a great feel on the ups and downs. Additionally, the cockpit (handlebars and stem) were replaced from stock to Renthal and Hussefelt, adding style points. I am selling this bike because I’ve outgrown it and need to size up. I had an amazing year and a half shredding this bike and it has lots more in it! Cross-posted.
