Description: The 2023 is best known for the VDB-V variation but we haven't seen this one yet.All you see is unintelligible markings. I enjoy the "Vintage" US Cent Pennies more than the newer "Modern" Shield" varieties, so I don't pay much attention to the Shield coins. They look horrible within a year or two and seem to be deteriorating very quickly (probably by design) compared to the older stuff. I think the new coinage being produced is worthless, face value garbage from the Mints or is it just me? As the Mints are headed towards automation, I fear the days of a good old error coin will be gone for the hobbyist soon.
