Description: Wow, that blue Lapis is strinking! These beautiful 10mm round lapis stones match the blue in the Krobo beads perfectly. Krobo beads are made by hand in Ghana. They are not made in a factory they are made in open-air huts. This is a labor-intensive process from crushing the glass to firing them. These beads are no longer made. There are still quite a few in circulation,....so they say. Good luck finding them. I leave that to my collector, Lol. These bicones happen to be perfectly made, which, as you know, some Krobo can be quite crude. Those are my fave. I am collecting different patterns to use in my art now. When the word gets out that they aren't making them, they will be scarce. Like i said, i can't find them now! My work is an investment. Honestly! Trying buying bicone beads, just the beads, in 5 years. If you happen to have or find rare beads, i will make you a handsome piece with them. The wood beads are old. I bought them from a woman here in the State's. Her dad made them. They are American hardwood. I put 2 coats of glaze on them. The bone beads are vintage. Made by the Tandy company in the 70s. They are domestic water Buffalo, or species Bubalus bubalis. They are highly polished and have a design on them. I always use 2 strands of wire and all stainless steel parts.
