Description: 25+ Sabal minor seeds, grown in Northern Virginia Zone 6b/7a. With germination rates around 90%, success is nearly guaranteed. The parent plants have survived 3 feet of snow in a weekend, a week and a half of below-freezing temperatures on at least two occasions, and an ultimate low of around -2°F air temperature. The flowers are loved by pollinators and the fruit are loved by birds and other creatures. Fair warning, in areas without hard freezes, they can become weedy once fruiting (the panicles may be removed before or after flowering to help pollinators to avoid this). Harvested November, 2022; if more seeds are desired, please message and I will try to accommodate, thank you. Shipped with USPS, if four or more sets are ordered, I will include tracking. Cheers.
