This creates a subtle Glow that attracts predators in low light conditions and in stained water. Weedless design. Fluorocarbon Weed Guard allows you to cast into wood, weeds and rocks without the fear of hang ups. Cast into areas you and other anglers would normally pass up without a weed guard. Fish deep into cover instead of just the edges . Spend more time fishing and less time retrieving your snagged fly or losing it completely. If you don't want the weed guard, just cut it off. Marabou and bunny strip with 1/16th oz sculpin/crayfish head 2-5" Flies articulated with tandem 1/0 black hooks. The hook rides in the up position. Black head, Glow eyes,white body/tail. Silicone legs and flash Undulating movement on the fall, during the retrieve, in current and when resting the Marabou collar and Bunny strip moves,breathes,even when resting on the bottom. I tie each and every streamer to insure quality consistency. Every tie in point is glued epoxied for durability. I only use premium quality materials. Extra select Marabou, Bunny strip and stainless steel fish shanks connected to the hook with nylon coated seven strand wire. With the hook riding up and with the weed guard you are able to fish it through rocks and gravel without snagging and prevents the hook point from damage. I have been fishing, guiding and tying flies for decades. These are the flies I use. They are tied and built to catch fish and hold up extreme abuse. I use 6wt rods and above with weight forward heavy taper bug/clouser line. If I want get really deep in current or deep weed edges, I will run a sink tip or full sinking line. I also use these flies with spinning tackle when it's just too windy to fly fish. The helmet heads I use are from the "Flymen" tackle company. I use these heads because they are the best. These heads allow my flies to act more like a swimbait than a jig. It makes a difference for me. They don't give them to me, I have to purchase them. I tie these streamers from 4" on up to 12" depending on the species I am targeting. Trout, walleyes bass , pike, peacock bass muskies and saltwater species like Stripers. The colors and patterns range from natural to brighter attractor streamers. If you want a specific color combination or pattern just let me know.
