Description: Fine quality 4" Ball/Mushroom stake for use in the Pexto Taper. This hefty steel stake is built to withstand the heavy use associated with blacksmithing, armoring, and jewelry making cold and hot steel, copper, brass, tin, etc.. The work surface is domed and ideal for forming and planishing a wide variety of metals. The tool is constructed is of tough 60/45/12 ductile iron and has a tapered shank to fit a Pexto type stake plate. The mushroom stake will arrive with a semi polished surface like the first photo. I will be listing several different products used in the trade of blacksmithing, so please look at my other auctions. All tools are new and in very good condition. Casting weighs approx. 7 1/4 lbs.
