Description: You are looking at a set of 4 4" x 2" x 2" blocks of Western Red Cedar that are being sold with the intention as woodcarving or whittling blocks. Not all of them will be uniformly 4x2x2 but will be close, as they were hand-cut with a bandsaw from scrap pieces of wood used in my woodworking shop. These pieces of wood are unfinished/raw but have been heat-treated in a kiln. It should be advised that this type of wood is better geared towards intermediates and experts when it comes to woodcarving/whittling as this type of wood fractures/splinters easily if cut in the wrong direction with the wrong pressure. Beginners beware! The end result, however, is a beautiful western red cedar piece that smells AMAZING and will look great raw by itself or with a finishing varnish.
