This wonderful textile is a vintage , hand woven rag rug , dating from the early to mid 1900's ~ The tones of this textile are very beautiful, subtle , ideal for a Farmhouse style or cottage interior ~ So many wonderful colors in this textile ~ ~This textile was woven by hand and used as floor covering. This bolt was woven with a cotton thread warp and the weft is woven with strips of various cloths! It's a heavy weight fabric with many more years of life left to live ~ They are wonderful seamed together to make rugs etc ~ . ~*~ Ideal used as a hallway carpet, table runner, stair runner, place mats, bathmats, pillow and upholstery fabric, etc! ~*~ *~ MEASUREMENTS : ~ This lovely piece measures approximately about 26 inches wide by 4 yards long CONDITION : This rag rug is in as found, not freshly laundered condition with light signs of time and use only! ~*~ Great condition! ~I always recommend dry cleaning these textiles because when machine washed, they can get all tangled up! ~ Generally it's just lovely condition indeed!
