Description: ULTRA RARE 4-LP PRODUCTION BY THE ARMED FORCES RADIO & TELEVISION SERVICE. I can't find this box anywhere, much less any information about it. The spine provides this title, "In Congress July 4, 1776 News and Events". The front of the box notes this producer: "A Woroner Production", and on the right side has the descriptor, "T76 - (Add Continental Congress) / News and Events". The back of the box is blank and there are no inserts. There is a 5th LP which I believe was not originally part of this set. There are 4 LPs which I believe comprise the complete collection of July 4 newscasts. All 8 sides of these 4 LPs are titled, "July 4 1776 Newscasts", with between 1 and 7 cuts, and about 25 min per side. The 5th LP are sides 5 and 6 of a set that was apparently titled, "An American Gallery", with "Porgy, Bess, and George (George Gershwin)" on Side 5 and "Flight Before Fury (Thomas Wolfe)". The box has some soiling on front paste-on, some light foxing marks, but the top and bottom remain attached, with very little to no edge or corner wear. All 5 LPs found in plain white inner sleeves, LOOK QUITE PLAYABLE with a finat scratch here or there, I'll grade them all VG++. SLL
