Made in the USA.For .30 caliber bolt action hunting rifles with 5/8-24 threaded barrels.Threads CNC milled (not tapped) in same operation as the bore to assure correct alignment and allows for a tighter bore (.360) for more recoil reduction. Eight side ports angled back at 9 degrees.Four top ports. Dramatically reduces felt recoil and muzzle climb.This brake is sized for a standard .750" (3/4") diameter barrel, not recommended for larger diameters. These are for .30 caliber and no larger, but will work for smaller calibers as long as the barrel has the correct threads. Will fit the listed bolt action hunting rifles barrel that is threaded 5/8-24. If the thread length on your barrel is longer than standard (.625 is standard, but brake and crush washer will work with up to .725 thread length without the need for a shim) you may need to use a shim or extra crush washer behind the brake which is not included. This would be very rare and I have had only one buyer out of a couple hundred that had to use a shim.
