Description: I am 86 years old and selling some pieces of Blue Ridge Southern Potteries Red Nocturne china, belonging to my mother. These are 9.5" Dinner plates (in another auction I have three 10 " dinner plates). They all have the Blue Ridge trademark. They are hand-painted and what is great on some plates artist left smudges or red paint, see picture #3. I love that. In good condition for its age 1940s, vibrant colors and no crazing or silverware scratches. 2 plates have small chips on backside, no rough but made smooth thru age. Therefore I am more reasonable. Please look at my other Blue Southern Potteries Red Nocturne china in another auction (last picture). There are three 8" soup bowls, One 11.25" platter, three 10" Dinner plates and six 9.5" Dinner plates. These are the pieces I have left of the set and have been in storage for many years. Thank you.
