These gaskets provide the benefits of a being able to maintain environments throughout a sizeable temperature range (-20°F - 400°F), appropriate for environments requiring high acid resistance, and are in compliance with FDA CFR 21, 177.2600, U.S. Pharmacopeia Class VI Certification, USDA Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, Cytotoxicity Criteria, USDA and 3-A Sanitary Standards, ASME-BPE Standards for Type I and Type II, ADI Free® (Animal Derived Ingredient Free), and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP). The FKM Fluoroelastomer Tri-Clamp Gasket is not highly resistant to strong bases nor recommended for environments containing continuous SIP (steam in place) procedures. For any use of these gaskets, the service life must considered.
