Showcard: Square East Presents Ben Bagley's The Decline and Fall of the Entire World as Seen Through the Eyes of Cole Porter Revisited. 1965. Starring Kaye Ballard, Harold Lang, Carmen Alvarez, William Hickey, and Elmarie Wendel. 8 pages. Graham Greene's The Potting Shed: Bijou Theatre Series, March, 1957. Starring Sybil Thorndike, Robert Flemyng, Leueen MacGrath, Lewis Casson, and Joan Croydon. 16 pages. The Good Woman of Setzuan: Phoenix Theatre, Third Production, 1956-57. Starring Uta Hagen, Gerald Hiken, Jane Hoffman, Nancy Marchand, Zero Mostel, Jerry Stiller, Logan Ramsey, Gene Saks, Albert Salmi, and George Ebeling. 6 page fold out program. William Shakespeare's Measure for Measure: Phoenix Theatre, American Shakespeare Festival. Fourth Production, 1956-57 season. Starring Jacqueline Brookes, Morris Carnovsky, Richard Easton, Nina Foch, Leon Janney, Norman Lloyd, Arnold Moss, Hiram Sherman, Richard Waring, and Nancy Wickwire. Under the direction of John Houseman. 6 page fold out program. Hats Off to Ice: Center Theatre, Rockefeller Center. A Musical Icetravaganza. February, 1945. Stars Sonja Henie, Arthur M Wirtz, Freddie Trenkler, Carol Lynne, Caley Sisters, Lucille Page, Geoffe Stevens, and more. 24 pages. Condition: These playbills have all been read and do show some wear. The pages have yellowed with time. There are creases, edge wear, minor foxing, and other signs of use. Any writing or marks are noted here. #3 has an inked date on the cover and foxing on one page. #4 has a penciled date on the cover plus another word (Z. Mostel is written) and a tape mark that shows on the cover. #4 has an inked date on the cover as well as a name (Nina Foch) and a tape marks that show on the cover. #6 has loose covers (see last photo in gallery) and was folded in half the long way. There are many more photos in the gallery and these can be magnified. Please examine all photos in the photo gallery carefully. All items come from my personal collections.
