For Collectors w Value This is a nice set of 7 NEW YEARS POSTCARDS showing CHILDREN, ANGELS, RURAL SCENES, HOLLY and BERRIES, and other New Year motifs. There are also postcards with a well made out of "Forget-Me-Not" flowers, and a very attractive young DUTCH GIRL in a shoe boat . These postcards were published by International Art Publishing Co. (IAP) in the early 1900s. IAP made postcards during the 1895 - 1915 era and mostly from Germany, and is considered one of the best publishing companies for quality postcards of that era. One of their most famous artists was Ellen Clapsaddle who is highly popular with collectors. Her work especially with children is well regarded and sought after. These postcards are unsigned from different artists and all part of various IAP NEW YEAR SERIES. They are quite colorful and attractive, with lots of details. These postcards are ANTIQUE and were published in the early 1900s. They are all embossed and some have GOLD trim. Overall, a nice selection of antique postcards! These are collector items because of their age, being from IAP as the publisher, and their appeal to New Years collectors. The postcards are UNPOSTED (1) and POSTED (6) with cancel dates of 1907 and 1908. The postcards are EMBOSSED with GOLD TRIM. Five of these postcards have UNDIVIDED backs. They were "Printed in Germany". These are BETTER POSTCARD and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, cuts, stains and edge wear due to their age. The photos show the postcards and the backs. The postcards are shipped in a sturdy envelope. USA shipping is with tracking, and we use eBay Standard Envelope mail when the value is under $20 and the weight is under 3 oz; and, we use USPS First Class mail when the value is over $20 or the weight is over 3 oz.
