Description: 7 South American Pieces of Currency Our mom loved to travel and she was fascinated by paper currency and coins from other countries. She was also fascinated by history and saw another country's history was often reflected in older forms of money. Most of the coins and paper currency she had she collected herself during her world travels. Others were purchased on-line over a couple of decades. When she passed away we found ourselves with a lot of banknotes and coins. Much to our mom's chagrin none of us like to travel. We also have reached an age where we are trying to downsize our lives. So we would like to see our mom's collection end up with others who will appreciate the beauty of these items as she did. We can't really say that these bills or coins are 'collectable' but hopefully we will find others to enjoy them as much as she did. I did my best to research these bills at the Numista website and I have included the Numista catalog number so that you can look to see what it is that I am selling. All bills and coins are no longer in use in their respective countries and have no purchasing value. This lot is of seven bills and are all from countries in South America. They are: Argentina: One Peso Ley, 1970-83 General & President Gerante is portrayed. 155 × 75 mm. Numista: N# 202619. Bolivia: Five Bolivianos, Adela Zamudio. C-Series, 1993-95. Second Boliviano. 140 × 69 mm. Numista: N# 205357. Bolivia: 10 Bolivianos, Cecilio Guzman de Rojas "Heroinas de la Coronilla." 1987-93. 140 × 69 mm, Numista: N# 207486. Bolivia: 200 Cruzieros (3 sequentially numbered bills), A-series Detail of the painting Pátria, by the painter Pedro Bruno. 140 × 65 mm, Numista: N# 206110. Peru: 50 Intis, Portrait of Nicolás de Piérola and Peruvian Coat of Arms at center. 148 × 74 mm. Numista: N# 205630 Condition: These bills are all circulated. I won't try to rate them since I'm not a collector. Bill #3 is especially worn however Bill #1 has an ink scribble on the front. The sequential bills as well as the Peruvian bill are in the best condition. Please examine the photos carefully to understand the condition of each bill.
